Seleucus I (king in Babylon and the East 305-280 BC), silver tetradrachm
c. 300 BC, Susa mint: head of Alexander (?) with leopard skin helmet and bull's horn to r. (obv.); Nike crowning a tropaion (rev.). The portrait of Alexander (or Seleucus?) has attributes of the god Dionysos, the master of leopards and mythical conqueror of India.
