Well, Bart, that is certainly perverse. I would yank it but for that my son will get a big kick out of it. He's a GI Joe nut. It's all he is interested in after those miserable video games!

Now see, this may give him an interest in a new hobby, dead animal photography, the field is wide open and in need of new blood, creativity, free thinking and all that. It reminds me of the photo someone sent me of a cardboard sign nailed to a stick which was stuck in the ground along a highway. The sign said "Free cat", and sure enough, you could make out a dead cat in the road near the sign. Who knows what it may lead him to, 'shooting' wildlife in Tasmania for National Geo., or shooting wildlife at the Playboy Club. It may well get him out of the house and away from the horrid video games! And to think that I would receive credit for such is gratifying.

I've seen the "free cat" sign in real life. This inspires me to no end. Puts great ideas in my head. Note to self: Self, start looking for GI Joe and other props... use self's imagination. There is no limit!

Garage sales, you have to hit a bunch of them, look at everything in a new light. A stuffed critter would be great. And girl dolls... is Barbie about the same size as G.I.Joe? A little Barbie/Joe anime... who said we have to grow up? Get yourself a whole uncooked chicken, put a pair of shades on the tail - making the tail the nose of a face- a lit cigar below the tail/nose, a videocam, or digicam, some voice over dubbing, say John Madden for instance, making it appear the chickens open end is Madden speaking a short humorous dialogue/script, and up she goes on Youtube. I've tried to get my kids interested in some of these creations, but they look at me like I'm crazy or very weird. To me, very weird is never being creative. OK, two chickens, John and Al, record some Monday night audio, and sync it to the birds 'talking', using fishing line inside to get movement. Try to have fun, it's important at our age!
Did you know you can get little live animals and insects at pet shops? Did you ever see a cute talking doll have insects or mice come out of her nose, ears, hair, mouth, hiccups... have fun with it!
