NORFOLK, England: Romano-British finger ring

ObjectType: finger ring
Romano-British finger-ring, part of hoop and all of setting missing, partly distorted. Slightly raised oval bezel, 16 x 13mm internally. Shallow moulded groove around bezel. Similar grooves on sides of shoulders flank a swelling on both. The narrowest surviving part of the hoop is 2mm wide. Internal diameter c.17mm. 2nd ? 3rd century.
