Charter Membership of History Hunters is an award in recognition of the important and valued contributions made by a member.

As well as a spiffy bade, Charter Members have access to a closed section of our site. This is to enable discussion of issues with greater privacy, as well as provide feedback about History Hunters and our projects.

Most of our Charter Members have either commercial or academic projects in fields such as mining precious metals, maritime archaeology, marine salvage, geophysical surveying or archaeological excavation. The privacy of this section affords a relatively-free flow of information and advice.

Charter members receive a high level of permissions for this site. We also use the free Skype telephone service to keep in contact with each other.
