You are both probably correct. Still, it will finalise tomorrow and we already have a new contest. I will pause before considering another of the 'post of the month' efforts.

It could also help if I ran a PR campaign across the web. Only the cost has detered me, for our income here is barely enough to cover costs. The prizes are just my way of passing on some of my collection as gifts to members (and thanks to Bart for enlarging the selection of prizes available).

Winner!

Wopper

Congratulations. Your post The Jesuits. You asked for proof, here it is! started a long and searching discussion which has touched on a number of important topics, and is ongoing even now.

If you will let me know which prize you select and PM me your postal address, it will start winging its way over to you.

Howdy History Hunters,

I want to thank the History Hunters International website and all those involved for having the competition, as well as suppling the awards, I think it is a great idea that will inspire new topics, and original posts. Even though my reason for starting the topic had nothing to do with winning the competition, I want to thank those that enjoyed and voted for the topic about the Jesuits. Hopefully the topic will continue on for some time to come. Winning the competition turned out to be a pleasent surprise, and I have chosen the spear point over the book.

I would like to thank you all once again.

Sincerely,

Wopper

Congratulations Wopper!

I love picking winners, but dang, I didn't put any money on it!

Cordially,
